In-Depth Commentary

During a Bungle Bungle tour, you get the opportunity to fly over and experience so much of Kununurra and the surrounding attractions. The planes that you fly in are fitted with a full PA system, allowing you to hear from the pilot through-out the entire flight. All pilots are well trained and knowledgeable about the Kununurra region and the history of the area. The in-depth commentary through-out the Bungle Bungle Flight informs passengers of the Ord Irrigation Area, The Ord River, Lake Argyle, the Ord Top Dam, Argyle Diamond and its history, cattle stations and of course the Bungle Bungle Ranges.

Packed Lunch

If you were to choose to land at the Bungle Bungle Range and go on one the amazing guided walks you will receive a beautifully packed lunch for you to eat on your hike. The lunch is prepared fresh that day at the Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge which is also located within Purnululu National Park. Enjoying your lunch in the shade of the gorges is a very relaxing experience.

Air-conditioned Planes

All fixed-wing planes that tour over the Bungle Bungles Ranges have air-conditioning. As it can get warm up in the Kimberley, the air-con in the Aviair planes is an amazing luxury. It allows you to be comfortable through-out the entire flight with your own air-con nozzle above you. Aviair pride itself on the comfortability of all its passengers during the entire flight.

Cold water and refreshing towels

Before, during and after your Bungle Bungle Flight all passengers are offered complimentary cold bottles of water to keep them hydrated in the warm Kimberley climate. Once you return to the Aviair terminal after your tour, you will be offered a cool 100% cotton refresher towel that is scented with locally grown Sandalwood.

Courtesy Transfers

If you are booking a flight with Aviair and are staying in Kununurra then courtesy bus transfers are available for both pick up and drop off. Aviair staff will drive around town in one of the vans or buses to bring passengers to the terminal and drop them off promptly after your flight. This saves anyone worrying about parking or getting to the terminal on time.

Complimentary information booklet

When you check in for your Bungle Bungle flight you will be given an information booklet that outlines all the significant features that you will be flying over with a short description on each. In this booklet is also a map showing the flight path to the Bungle Bungle Range and with each feature numbered on the route map.
