The Role

B1 LAME

GROUP RESERVATIONS MANAGER

The Reservation Manager will be responsible for the management of all reservations across the tourism-based products and services for Aviair, HeliSpirit and Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge & Guided Tours. The role will ensure the smooth and efficient running of all tours and the reservations department through prompt, effective and proper reservation procedures.

Key Duties and responsibilities of the role include

- Co-Manage reservations and customer service staff at the Kununurra and remote HeliSpirit bases, with the intent to promote productive, efficient and enjoyable team environment. Includes recruitment activities, leave management, provide ongoing training and sales support.
- Implement reservation policies and procedures across all group entities with the intent to drive efficiencies of both reservations and product implementation.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all products, services and reservations procedure for the group of companies as well as identifying and implementing improvements.
- Ensure all tourism flights, tours and accommodation are being booked cost efficiently and effectively as well as monitor all bookings including tour group and cruise ship reservations.
- Manage and monitor internal and third-party reservations systems to ensure information is kept up to date and correct, including rates, agent details and commission.
- Undertake active role in tourism product management in conjunction with Sales & Marketing Manager and relevant parties in regard to rates and new product development
- Present and promote group of companies as needed at after hour functions, trade shows and conferences
- Compile and send relevant tourism contract clients and partners required monthly reports and invoices in line with individual KPI’s
- Provide an analysis of monthly performance report per entity

OPERATIONS AND CLIENT EXPERIENCE OFFICER

Aviair is seeking to appoint an Operations and Client Experience Officer to provide a high level of customer service and operational oversight at our Broome base. Our Broome base comprises of a growing team of Operations and Customer Service staff along with Pilots, Engineers and some of the Company’s corporate team. We operate scheduled services throughout the Kimberley & Pilbara and charter flights for corporate and contract clientele.

As an Operations and Client Experience Officer, you will be responsible for the daily management of the flying schedule with a strong focus on coordinating services for all flight crew and clients, and in ensuring operations are running in a safe, systematic and efficient manner with a focus on high levels of quality and procedural process. From the moment a passenger arrives in the Aviair terminal, you are responsible for their movements to ensure a transfer that is safe, efficient and courteous.

Operations and Client Experience Officers operate the check-in counters, switch-board and email, and provide front-line customer service. This role will also see you managing aspects of the reservations for all our valued clients, including public passenger and charter. You will also be responsible for ground operations and office administration within the Aviair Broome Terminal, and for coordination of charter flights and freight distribution in conjunction with the Operations Manager. The role also requires regular contact with clients, senior managers within Aviair and other key stakeholders.

Key duties and responsibilities:

- Maintain an exemplary level of customer service within the office for all passengers, guests and team members;
- Coordinating the operation of charter and scheduled flights and bookings, and allocating flight services according to the service level agreements and contractual requirements;
- Ground operations, including but not limited to check-in, baggage & freight acceptance and facilitation of flight departures and arrivals;
- Point of contact for regular charter clients and destinations with regard to schedule changes, delays and general enquiries. Liaise and confirm services for contract clients; and
- Administration duties to ensure the smooth operation of the base, including but not limited to general inventory and ordering, banking, mail, and office upkeep. 

The successful applicant will have:

- Communication skills across all demographics and ability to develop and sustain relationships;
- Well-developed problem-solving skills with strong level of initiative and be proactive in seeking solutions;
- Ability to apply a high level of attention to detail across all tasks and previous experience working within a shared team environment;
- Excellence in customer service with the ability to tailor experiences according to each client’s desired outcome;
- Knowledge and intermediate skill for use of Microsoft Office Suite and be assured using computers and software programs;

- Hold a current C class driver’s licence.

About the role

To support our growth, we are seeking a B2 LAME/AME with relevant industry experience to join our Broome base. The base carries out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to our fleet. Ideally, we are seeking applicants with experience working on our aircraft types or similar.

The Avionics team is based across our Broome and Kununurra bases and work as one unit. Aviair’s sister company HeliSpirit has its main base in Kununurra. Opportunities for travel between the various bases and work on helicopters is available.

To support the company’s growth, we are seeking a Stores Assistant and Engineering Administration Coordinator to assist with day-to-day duties. You will work closely with the Senior Base Engineer and Stores Co-ordinator to assist with supporting the efficient running of the store and providing administrative support for our Engineering Management.

Key Duties and responsibilities of the role include

- Adhere to all company procedures, including our Safety Management System, Quality Management System, Maintenance Organisation procedures and Employee Handbook
- Assist with the management of parts and tooling (including calibrated tooling) as well as ensuring efficient administration of “goods in” and “goods out” and all part movement through the store while prioritising aircraft on ground (AOG) parts and tooling
- Support with the management of items subject to shelf life, the tracking of delivery of parts and tooling, ensuring on time delivery while maintaining accurate records.
- Aid with the management of stock quantity levels and regular stocktakes
- Receive, unpack, accept and dispatch internal and external freight and assist with stock control and replenishment. Freight drop-off and pickups, collecting items in town and collecting/dropping off personnel from and to the main terminal.
- Update all personnel records in Air Maestro and Aerotrack
- Assist with creating engineering department related records and internal audits.
- As required, assist in management of internal and external jobs in Aerotrack, including data entry of job labour hours and parts and processing of jobs for external client invoicing

Experience, Skills and Qualifications Required

- Qualify to be approved by CASA as a CASR Parts Form 4 holder.

DEPUTY CONTUNUING AIRWORTHINESS MANAGER

About the Role

The Deputy CAM is responsible for all aspects of continuing airworthiness in the CAM’s absence as outlined below. When not holding the position of CAM, the Deputy CAM shall work side by side with the CAM to ensure aircraft airworthiness and compliance.

The Deputy CAM is responsible for the airworthiness of all aircraft managed under the CAMO. They will be responsible for determining what maintenance is required to be performed and by whom, is carried out on time and to an approved standard. To achieve this they will be responsible for the policy, procedure and regulatory approvals associated with aircraft airworthiness. This is a full-time opportunity to be based in our Perth office. Key Duties And Responsibilities

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

- Establishment and development of continuing airworthiness policy, including the approval and ongoing amendment of the Aviair Aircraft Maintenance Program
- Analysis of the effectiveness of the Aircraft Maintenance Program in accordance with CASR Part 42.160
- The relationship with the Part 145 maintenance contractor and establishment of a Maintenance Contract
- Approval, by the CASA of the Aviair Pty Ltd Technical Log, required by Part 42.220, including any subsequent amendment thereto
- Airworthiness Directive review and embodiment
- Management of the Aircraft Reliability Program.
- The amendment and control of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition
- Liaise with all stakeholders as required to maintain safe and compliant fleet
- Ensuring that Aviair Pty Ltd technical and usage records are kept as required as well as ensuring maintenance control software is updated in line with maintenance carried out and changes to the maintenance program
- Maintenance forecasting, planning and follow up and technical follow up
- That the Airworthiness Review for each aeroplane operated by the company remains valid in respect of the airworthiness of the aeroplane, the expiry date specified on the Certificate, and any other condition specified in the Certificate
- Reporting any occurrences of a maintenance nature to the CASA and the aircraft manufacturers
- That Aviair Pty Ltd pilots are duly trained and authorised to carry out approved maintenance, where necessary and appropriate
- Other duties as reasonably directed by Management

To Be Successful in This Role

The successful applicant will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork. This role will involve travel to the various bases, require the flexibility to work across different time zones and the following:

- Comprehensive knowledge of the CAMO exposition and CASA, EASA and FAA legislation
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant areas of the operations manual
- Experience in the development of maintenance programs and reliability program management
- Experience in management of airworthiness reviews
- Specific technical knowledge of the fleet aircraft managed by the CAMO
- Experience with introduction into service of aircraft including technical and commercial aspects of aircraft leasing
- High aptitude with CMMS and MS Office suite.
- Ability to work independently with project management and multi-tasking skills
- Focus on delivering timely and quality services to internal team members
- Ability to obtain and hold an ASIC

The newly created position of HR Advisor has been established to continue to support the needs of the business as we enter a significant period of growth. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Advisor will work with management and employees across all Group businesses. Key duties will include but not be limited to:

- Providing timely and consistent advice to managers and employees in relation to a range of human resources matters, including interpretation of awards, contracts, and policies
- Providing support and guidance in the management of grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management
- Working closely with Payroll to ensure correct award interpretation is always applied

- Drafting of policies and procedures and ensuring necessary training and/or communication of the same
- Facilitating coaching sessions to support management understanding of HR relates processes

About You

- Previous experience at an HR Advisor (or similar) level with exposure to the full employee lifecycle is essential
- Have a demonstrated background in the interpretation of the Fair Work Act, NES, and awards

- Knowledge and demonstrated ability to interpret and provide advice relating to awards, employment contracts and other relevant HR legislation

The Document Controller will have the responsibility of defining and implementing a systematic document management system, ensuring compliance with regulator and client requirements. You will be responsible for the preparation, control and publication of company produced manuals and supporting documentation. About the Role

Reporting to and working closely with the Managing Director, the Senior Commercial Manager will be a key part of the senior management team. We are looking for an individual who has the business acumen, experience, and drive to work across the different Group entities at both a strategic and operational level.

Based in Kununurra, Broome or Perth, there will be a requirement for regular intra-state travel.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Providing high level commercial business support to the Managing Director in all aspects of the business including senior level reporting to the Managing Director and preparation of reports for the Board
- Participation at business meetings with the Managing Director and delivery of action items from these meetings
- Leading continual improvement within all aspects of the Group and identifying new business opportunities across the Group
- Representation of the Group at meetings and industry events

- Assistance in business planning and development of the strategic direction of the Group
- Liaising with department heads and senior staff members on behalf of the Managing Director regarding operational matters.

- A Commerce/Business degree is essential with an MBA considered favourably

- You will be a lateral thinker and problem-solver with experience in making considered decisions and executing agreed actions
