FARE CONDITIONS HALLS CREEK TO KUNUNURRA SERVICE


As this route is subsidised by the State and Federal Government, there are certain fare classes imposed. When booking your flight you must use the fare class that applies to you. Strict conditions apply.

There are 4 types of fare, when booking your ticket please ensure you choose the correct fare:

Non-residents of Halls Creek/ the general business traveller Fare B $325 per person
Halls Creek Resident Fare Fare C  $150 per person
Remote Air Service Subsidy (RASS)  Fare D $150 per person

  • Photo ID must be produced at check in. For Halls Creek residents proof of address must be produced at check in. For example, Driver’s license, utility bill. Failure to produce this identification will lead to the difference in fare price being paid prior to departure.
  • All RASS passengers wishing to continue on from Halls Creek must contact Aviair by phone to book travel.

 

TRANSFERABLE
Fares are transferable up to 24 hours prior to departure. Passengers must comply with the fare type conditions.
 
CANCELLATIONS
Within 24 hours of flight scheduled time of departure are non-refundable

Between 24 hours and 7 days of flight scheduled time of departure incur a charge of 20% of the fare price paid.

 
LUGGAGE
For each passenger, a free luggage allowance of 15kg is permitted on all flights conducted by Aviair. Additional luggage may be carried at a discretionary extra charge of $4 per kg, applied to luggage 15kg or over, subject to space and weight availability. Passengers travelling in groups may pool their allowance - maximum weight for any luggage item is 25 kg. All over-sized items of luggage, including car seats, pushchairs and bikes will incur an additional fee. Please contact the Aviair office for more information.

Aviair and its appointed agents accept no liability for damages consequential upon the loss, delay or damage of goods or luggage. The carrier accepts no responsibility for fragile or perishable articles carried in luggage
 
CUSTOMER WEIGHT
Maximum passenger weight limits apply on Aviair aircraft. Customer and approximate baggage weights must be provided to us at time of booking. All customers and baggage will be weighed prior to departure for safety and operational reasons. We reserve the right to deny carriage to customers who provide weight information that is inaccurate by more than 15% in which case any fare paid with be forfeited.
 
SCHEDULE CHANGES
Schedules may change and flights may be delayed or cancelled due to bad weather, air traffic control delays, technical disruptions, and network changes. Aviair does not guarantee we will be able to carry you, your baggage or freight on the date and time of the flights booked. Flight times do not form part of your contract of carriage with us. Please ensure accurate passenger details are provided so any changes can be notified. To the extent permitted by law, the airline excludes liability for any costs, expenses, losses or damages incurred by the passenger as a result of failure to meet a schedule. Travel insurance is recommended.

 

These Conditions apply to all carriage of passengers and baggage by Aviair. These Conditions are to be read in conjunction with and subject to the provisions of all applicable laws including the limitations of liability in the relevant Federal and State laws.

OBLIGATIONS OF AVIAIR WHERE CARRIAGE CANNOT BE PERFORMED OR COMPLETED
Where Aviair is unable to commence or continue any flight or carry any contracted passenger it will endeavour to provide alternative carriage. If alternative carriage is not possible the passenger may re-book with Aviair or receive a refund. Aviair has no obligation to a passenger who is late for, or misses a flight.

 
RULES
Aviair may, from time to time, make separate regulations or rules or give notices or set other terms and conditions relating to specified carriage or requirements. All such Rules shall apply equally as the Conditions as though fully set out herein. Aviair may vary or amend any Rules from time to time. Where there is any conflict between these Conditions and any Rules, these Conditions shall apply.

 

PASSENGER CONDUCT
Aviair reserves the right to refuse carriage to any person who seeks to travel in violation of any applicable law or otherwise in breach of the Terms and Conditions of carriage or who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol or if it is necessary for the safety of other passengers or for the protection of property. Passengers shall comply with all the instructions of the Carrier's Employees or Agents.

 

INFANTS & CHILDREN
Infants are free of charge if seated on an adult's lap, one infant per adult. Children under the age of two, booked as an infant, will not be allocated a seat. We can carry a maximum of 2 infants per flight. An infant travelling Free of Charge is not allocated a luggage allowance, additional luggage charges will apply for car seats and pushchairs.

 

UNACCOMPANIED MINORS
Children between the ages of 7 and 14 can travel unaccompanied on any Aviair flight. Unaccompanied minors must be booked over the phone as special procedures apply.

 

DISABLED PASSENGERS
Aviair must be notified a minimum of 48 hours prior to scheduled time of departure with the level of assistance required and whether the customer is using a wheelchair. This allows us to ensure that we can accommodate the customers’ needs and deliver the highest levels of care and comfort. Wheelchairs can be carried on our aircraft, providing they are collapsible. For health and safety reasons, we are not permitted to lift a customer into or out of the aircraft.

 

TIMETABLE
The carrier undertakes to use its best efforts to carry passengers and luggage with reasonable dispatch. Times shown in timetables or elsewhere are not guaranteed, and form no part of this contract. Schedules are subject to change without notice, nor does the company assume any responsibility for making connections. Subject thereto, the carrier may without notice substitute alternative carriers or aircraft and may alter or omit the stopping places shown on the face of the ticket in case of necessity. Passengers must bear their own expenses arising from any cause due to over carriage and/or delay, whether of passengers or luggage.

 

RESTRICTED ARTICLES
Dangerous goods may not be carried. A list of common dangerous goods is displayed at check in counters and further information is available on request. Passengers are requested to clarify any doubtful items prior to check in. Articles such as the following may not be carried in passenger’s luggage

  • Flammable or poisonous compressed gases (some common camping equipment)
  • Flammable liquids and solids (strike anywhere matches, lighter and heater fluids)
  • Firearms (may only be carried with approval as checked luggage)
  • Explosives (fireworks and other articles that are easily ignited)
  • Poisons (not including medical prescriptions)
