Aviair is pleased to be a finalist in the prestigious 2015 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards in the category of Major Tour and Transport Operator. Finalists were announced at a function in Perth on Thursday 8th October with more than 150 attendees from across the tourism industry.
Tourism Council of Western Australia said "The Awards recognise excellence within the tourism industry and highlight the extraordinary tourism experiences Western Australia has to offer". Tourism Council WA CEO Evan Hall said “the level of participation in the awards and the high standard of entrants reflected the passion and professionalism of tourism operators in WA.”
A tourism business who submits an entry for the WA Tourism Awards is inspected by a judge who reviews the applicant’s businesses activity and ability to perform the highest level of service to tourists. Aviair's Kununurra based operation was inspected and the judge participated in a scenic flight over the Bungle Bungle range in the Purnululu National Park. Aviair submitted its entry which illustrated its ability to provide outstanding customer service, investment in people, care for the environment in which it operates, and supporting the local tourism industry to create a sustainable tourism proposition.
